Job Role: IT Support Engineer

Location: Bolton, Manchester

Salary: £25,000 - £29,000

My client, an esteemed telecommunications company are seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to joining their dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless IT operations for both customers and internal staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle initial inquiries and incidents reported by customers and internal staff.
• Provide troubleshooting and resolve technical issues, including password resets, software installs, and both software and hardware support.
• Offer advanced technical support, diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues and conducting in-depth troubleshooting.
• Perform server and software upgrades as required.

Requirements:

• Strong experience in first and second-line support.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently.
• Occasional site visits may be required, though most support is provided remotely.
