Mobile Developer – Manchester - Circa £60k

On behalf of our growing client based near Manchester, we are recruiting for a talented Mobile Developer. As a Mobile Developer, you will be responsible for improving the reliability of our client’s mobile platform's reliability and creating technical solutions to a high standard.

The Mobile Developer will be responsible for:

• Develop software solutions to agreed timescales, standards and KPIs
• Communicate regularly with the development team lead
• Ensure the highest quality of development and documentation is achieved through the adoption of best practices
• Adhere to and contribute to development standards, including code, processes, and technology stacks
• Liaise with solution architects to create new solutions and improve existing ones
• Work closely with testing functions to ensure delivered solutions are robust and thoroughly tested
• Publishing on the Google Play & Apple iTunes app stores
• Writing clear release notes to support new features and changes to existing functionality

The Mobile Developer will have the following:

• Java with the Android SDK, OO design and programming best practices
• Development in XCode with the iOS SDK, Objective-C, Cocoa and Core Data
• XML and REST-based APIs and performance best practices for mobile
• App store configuration, including Push Notifications, In-App Purchases and development and release certification
• Authentication standards and applying them
• Encryption principles
• JSON
• Git and work with source control
