Research and Development Software Consultant

Our client is a multi-national Top 10 accountancy firm that works with large software organisations at the forefront of innovation. They are looking for a Research and Development Software Consultant with a good technical understanding of the field.

Responsibilities:

• Analysing technical software data and documentation from clients to support the planning and development of R&D claim methodologies
• Coordinating and leading efficient technical software interviews with the client to advise on R&D tax relief
• Advising our clients through the R&D software assessment process to support them in determining qualifying activities
• Developing supporting software technical documentation summarising the output from the interviews suitable for non-technical audiences
• Providing software technical input advice based on your area of expertise
• Managing a large diverse portfolio of software clients

Person specification:

• Be qualified to degree-level in a relevant subject e.g. software engineering, computer science etc...
• Currently working in the software industry
• Be able to work within multi-disciplinary teams, taking responsibility for the technical software aspects
• Be well-organised, able to manage multiple projects and handle conflicting demands in a timely manner
