Austin Fraser has an exciting opportunity for a Devops Support Engineer to join a company in the global healthcare industry that has created software used by Doctors and Nurses to improve the quality of patient safety. Due to exciting plans this year, they're looking to onboard a Devops Support Engineer to oversee the integrity and security of SaaS deployments, consistently aiming to enhance performance by scaling, configuring, and fine-tuning. The role:

• Out of hours support 
• Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to validate the automated deployment, configuration, and upgrading of the infrastructure.
• Monitor, investigate and resolve incidents, test infrastructure, monitor security validation and constantly improve security. 
• Provide excellent customer service
• Create professional and detailed RCAs.

The candidate:

• Hands on experience with Linux and Kubernetes
• Experience with any cloud - Azure, AWS, GCP
• Experience working in a containerized environment 
• Prioritise security measures, including user controls, privileges, and role-based access control.
• Develop, manage, and validate backup and recovery strategies.
• Demonstrate proficiency in DevOps practices, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, GitOps, and integration with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Provide specialised support for custom applications.
• Exhibit exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Capable of producing thorough and precise documentation.
• Apply robust troubleshooting approaches effectively.
