Compliance Apprentice (British International Investment)

In this role you will be supporting team members with handling compliance matters and queries arising from BII’s operations in relation to FCA and overseas regulations.

Role

This role will allow the successful candidate to learn about:

  • Financial Services legal and regulatory frameworks and the role of different regulators
  • Financial crime legislation and regulation, including risk typologies
  • Compliance policies and procedures
  • Systems, tools and processes, including IT tools
  • Data analysis and management information

Responsibilities:

  • Updating compliance risk registers and collating key metrics
  • Keep abreast of UK compliance requirements relevant to BII’s operations, as well as understanding the compliance obligations in other countries in which BII operates
  • Support with the development of senior management reporting dashboards
  • Support the creation of interactive training material
  • Support compliance investigations and internal reviews

Training

Throughout the apprenticeship learners receive coaching, help and guidance from a dedicated team who are there to ensure they get the most from their work experience.
