Lead DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer

£85,000 – 106,000 basic salary - plus bonus and great company pension

2 days per week in the office – central London or Edinburgh – rest of the week remote working

Are you a Senior or Lead DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer looking for your next challenge?

Do you have strong software, cloud, Kubernetes and CI/CD experience?

Azure or CGP would be an advantage but will consider any cloud platform experience.  

This is a technical leadership position, mentoring and helping to shape the team will be key.

You’ll work in a hybrid role, leading the team, mentoring, coaching and developing staff, while the other half of the role will be acting as a very hands-on Senior DevOps/Site Reliability Engineer.

You should have the following technical skills –

• Experience in at least two of the following languages: .Net, Java, Groovy, Scala, Python, Go, C++, JavaScript, PowerShell or Bash/Shell.
• Work experience in a technical leadership role.
• Knowledge of Azure Cloud (i.e. AKS, Key Vault, APIM, Application Gateway, SQL).
• Strong DevOps skill set with expertise in integration tools like Azure DevOps, Nexus, and Git Kubernetes & Istio (AKS an advantage)
