Systems Engineer / 2nd Line Engineer - Progress to 3rd Line

If you are looking for the next step in a fast paced environment, helping drive the adoption of cloud technologies this is for you! As System Engineer you will join a team of 15 who are responsible for the design, installation, maintenance and support of a multisite IT environment.

Do you have an appetite to learn? With this role you would have the opportunity to develop your IT skills and progress into a 3rd Line position managing server, network, cyber security and more. You can contribute to and lead on a number of projects including:

• Continued migration to Azure IaaS
• Adoption of core Microsoft technologies including Intune, and the Azure tool set

Working in a team and regularly engaging with external 3rd party partners means no two days are the same in this role!

Here you’ll work within a busy and dynamic IT department troubleshooting a broad variety of IT problems such as hardware, software and network problems.

Ideally you will have:

• A minimum 2 years experience in an IT Systems Engineer role
• Experience in managing MS M365 and MS Intune environment.
• An understanding of server technologies – Windows Server 2019/2022 and VM ware
• TCP/IP WAN LAN Network experience with CISCO Meraki technology
• Configuration and deployment experience with Azure apps/ PowerShell skills

It is a hybrid role with 3 days a week in the Midlands based office, with occasional travel to regional office sites when required – you will need a full UK driving license for this opportunity.
