Job summary
We are looking for a competent part-time Senior Admin, ideally with a minimum experience of 1 year within NHS GP services or another similar role.
You will need to be able to work within a busy team environment but also to use your own initiative and work on your own when necessary.
You will ideally need a good working knowledge of NHS focused software, SystmOne. You will be dealing with patients and staff, as well as outside agencies, accessing the service both on the telephone and face to face at times, therefore you will need to have good communication skills.
Main duties of the job
These are some of the basic requirements for this position:
- To have experience in Systm1
- To cover reception when required
- To be able to help with reports
- Able to do Community referrals & Hospital referrals (eRS referral)
- Dealing with New patient registrations
- Inviting patients for their regular check up
- Customer service Telephone manners
- Able to deal with outside companies, i.e IT help desk, stock ordering etc
- Assist management team
- Assist with clerical duties such as filing, scanning and organizing documents - Mange office inventory
- Assist with other administrative tasks as assigned

Qualifications

- - Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- - Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- - Ability to deal with patient queries in an empathetic and sensitive manner.

- - MS Office
- - MS Excel
Experience
- Minimum 1 year experience of working in a GP practice or a similar setup.
