Systems Technician Apprentice

Velocity Academy have an exciting new opportunity for a Systems Technician with Coriel Limited, a System Integration Company based in Nottingham. You will join a team with a strong customer focus delivering innovative technology solutions to industry. This is an amazing opportunity for someone to get themselves into IT and start a career.

Role

Coriel is seeking a passionate and proactive person to work within our technical services delivery team to:

·         Provide both on-site and remote technical support.

·          Learn how to solve problems and promptly diagnose issues (either hardware or software).

·         Attend customer sites for systems installations, system fault finding, and hardware replacements.

·         Assist Coriel engineering teams (UK and Spain) in daily delivery tasks such as software installation, system testing, and hardware device deliveries.

·         Contribute to the production of quality product delivery and customer facing documentation.

·         Form good customer relationships through efficient delivery and support.

·         Serve customers in the UK and overseas accompanied by senior support team members.

Training

Velocity apprenticeship training programmes are delivered virtually by our fully qualified and industry experienced training team. Using their expert knowledge, they will provide the skills necessary to succeed in the workplace and to expand future career prospects.

Throughout the apprenticeship learners receive coaching, help and guidance from a dedicated team who are there to ensure they get the most from their programme.

Successful completion of this apprenticeship gives you an accredited Level 3 IT Support Technician qualification, with training in how to:

·         Install and configure relevant software and hardware as appropriate for example: mobile apps, printers, projectors, scanners and cameras.

·         Address IT issues by prioritizing in response to customer service level agreements.

·         Administer security access requirements and permissions for stakeholders escalating as necessary for example password resets.

·         Support the roll out of upgrades or new systems or applications.
