Test Engineer

My client are a leading Software company who specialise in the Maritime Industry, and are looking for someone to help test their latest groundbreaking product.

This role requires someone who has experience of testing physical products, and not just software. Here you will be:

• Ensure the products and procedures meet industry standards (ISO9001)
• Identify and communicate risks, issues and dependencies
• Testing on electrical devices, testing power supply voltage for example
• Testing wireless connectivity

For this role, you also mentor junior members of the team, along with developing positive change within the company.

On a software testing basis, you will be:

• Doing both manual and automation testing with Python
• UAT Testing
• Android and iOS testing
• Running tests and raising defects using Test Management Tools
