Scala Developer

We are looking for a Scala Developer to join our client's team, who is leading a media company in the Netherlands and Belgium.

The role is remote and on a contract basis, with the possibility of traveling to the head office in Riga once a quarter. The full project stack contains: Java, React, Golang, Kotlin, AWS, Infra as Code ect.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Scala
• Experience in working with the Cat Library
• Knowledge in Functional programming, AKKA, AWS
• Agile and similar work methodologies.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities:

• Writing, maintaining, and testing code for Streaming and Reacting software systems
• Working with a team who are passionate about delivering high-quality products.
