Senior Data Analyst

Are you an experienced Senior Data Analyst ?

Do you have excellent SQL skills ?

Have you Crystal Reports and Alteryx knowledge ?

If so I have a really interesting role with my global financial services client, based from their Edinburgh office however its hybrid working.

This is initially a 14 month Fixed Term Contract.

In this role you will be responsible for creating reports using Crystal Reports, SQL Developer & Alteryx.

Main responsibilities: 

• Creating and maintaining reports using Crystal Reports and/or SQL, as well as creating stored procedures, functions, and views.
• Develop SQL queries to extract, manipulate and/or calculate information to fulfil data and reporting requirements.
• Use of Alteryx to assist with creating and maintaining reports.
• Work with report requesters to gather data and reporting requirements.
• Ensuring all processes and procedures are followed and kept up to date.
• Providing support for UAT of Systems Development.
• Managing scheduling of new and existing reports.
• To identify, evaluate and report risks to team manager.
• Ad-hoc project work.

Essential skills:

• Advanced SQL skills.
• Knowledge of Crystal Report.
• Good knowledge of Alteryx.
• Experience with Power BI (advantageous)
• Ability to demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Capacity to work unsupervised and under tight deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Completer/finisher with the ability to see tasks through to completion.
• Strong ability to respond and investigate queries.
• Numerate with competent system skills, including advanced knowledge of Excel.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail while handling significant volumes of data.
