Epicor Analyst
Position Overview: As a Remote Epicor Application Support Analyst, you'll be instrumental in maintaining and optimizing our Epicor ERP system. Your responsibilities will include providing technical support, resolving issues, implementing enhancements, and assisting end-users. Responsibilities:
- Provide remote support for Epicor ERP-related inquiries, issues, and requests from end-users.
- Troubleshoot technical problems, identify root causes, and implement timely solutions to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement system enhancements or customizations.
- Perform routine system maintenance tasks, including updates, patches, and configurations to ensure optimal performance.
- Develop and maintain documentation, training materials, and standard operating procedures for end-users.
- Conduct virtual training sessions and workshops to promote system adoption and proficiency.
- Monitor system performance and utilization, identifying opportunities for improvement and recommending solutions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new features of the Epicor ERP platform.
- Participate in project planning, testing, and implementation activities for system upgrades or integrations.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams to facilitate effective communication and alignment of objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Working with Epicor ERP systems, including configuration, administration, and support.
- Proficiency in Epicor tools and modules, such as Epicor 10, Epicor ERP Kinetic, Epicor Financial Management, and Epicor Manufacturing.
- Understanding of ERP concepts, business processes, and industry standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse complex issues and develop practical solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Experience with SQL queries, data analysis, and reporting tools is a plus.
- Epicor certifications or training courses are desirable.
