IT Systems Support Analyst

Due to significant investment, a globally recognised manufacturer has a new vacancy for an IT Systems Support Analyst to join the team.  Working at the European head office you will be responsible for supporting users across multiple sites and candidates are sought with proven experience of data cleansing/data migration and you will also be involved in the planning & introduction of a new global ERP system.

Commutable from: Edinburgh, Bathgate, Glasgow, Motherwell, Falkirk, Dunfermline, Perth, Sterling.

Salary:  £ 42,000 - £ 50,000 p.a. + benefits

The Role 

Work with business leads to translate requirements & develop the appropriate reporting solutions.
Resolving ERP/Reporting-related issues in a timely manner & according to business priorities.
Supporting data cleansing & data migration activities.
Managing interfaces to supporting systems including APS & building knowledge of these systems.
Support & enhance in-house developed database solutions used throughout the company.
Building knowledge of existing ERP & Reporting systems.
Logging support calls & solutions in a Helpdesk system to promote cross-functional support & knowledge transfer within the IT department.
Ensuring compliance with various audit requirements including SOX, and implementing improvements based on audit recommendations.

The Person

Proven experience of Data Migration / Data Cleansing.
Proficient in Excel VBA / Scripting /SOLI /HTML/SSRS.
Experience of working in a fast-paced environment (manufacturing, distribution, logistics), preferred but not essential.
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organisation.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate a proactive and flexible approach to their work.
Experience with computer programming (any language) is an advantage.
Working knowledge of ERP systems (any platform) is an advantage.
