Clearable/SC/DV Cleared Infrastructure Engineer - Permanent - £40,000-£55,000 plus benefits and bonus- Full time on site (Farnborough)

My client are a Botique Defence Consultancy who are looking for a number of Clearable/SC/DV Cleared Infrastructure Engineers to join their fast growing team.

You will develop personal knowledge through study/research toward vocational certifications in relevant technologies/vendors. Advise customers and project teams on infrastructure and support aspects. Cascade knowledge through knowledge articles for the team and wider organisation. Support the client's team in winning business.

Triage monitoring alerts and perform appropriate action.Maintain monitoring components in line with infrastructure developments. Ensure all platforms are patched in line with provider recommendations and client's security policy. Quickly and accurately assess impact of incidents, initiate return to service and ensure follow up actions are completed.

Essentials Key skills:

Windows Server 2016+ administration.VMware vSphere/vCenter/VCF.Azure/Microsoft 365 administration.Linux (CentOS/RedHat/Ubuntu).PowerShell.EUD provisioning (Autopilot), maintenance, patching and hardening.SSO - concepts and operation.Understanding of working in protectively marked environments.

Desirable skills:

Kubernetes administration e.g. VMware TKGIDevSecOps ToolingElasticNessusApplication PackagingHashiCorp TerraformHashiCorp VaultExperience working in Agile sprintsSC/DV Clearance
