Are you an IT Manager or similar local to Reading looking to join a leading IT Specialist in the education industry who provide, implement and manage IT Support for a range of different schools, councils and government organisations across the UK?

Do you want the opportunity to manage a school network, working in a professional environment to ensure the success of an IT department, assisting with hardware rollout, network management and general IT troubleshooting?

On offer is an exciting opportunity for an IT Manager or similar looking to step into a position that offers full domain over a school network with opportunities to improve performance and saving. This is a position suitable for someone with a strong background working as an IT Manager, with a professional manner and eagerness to work for a school.

In this role you will provide 1st,2nd and 3rd Line IT Support, working closely with the technicians and aiding both teachers and students with any issues that might be raised throughout the school day. The working house in this role are 8am-4:30pm.

This role would suit an experienced IT Manager or a 3rd Line Technician looking to step up into a more senior position.

THE ROLE:

• Managing the IT Infrastructure of a school network
• Assisting with 1st, 2nd, 3rd Line Support
• Helping with the progression of junior technicians

THE PERSON:

• Experience in a similar position and confident to work within a school
• Able to pass a DBS check
• Local to Reading
