IT Manager

My client is a leading Staffordshire based school who is seeking an experienced ICT Manager to join their team.  Whilst previous education experience is desirable, the ideal candidate will have worked at management level, having looked after all aspects of ICT for an organisation.

This role is based near Stoke-on-Trent and is an onsite role.

Salary is to £40K.

Duties include, but is not limited to- 

• School system upgrade responsibility.
• Responsible for all ICT across the sites.
• Develop technology solutions.
• ICT Policy and Procedures development.
• Management of equipment- Laptops, IPADS, Tablets, workstations.
• Data and Voice ICT infrastructure oversight.
• Effective deployment of ICT resources across the school.
• System management- servers, emails, software, hardware.
• IT Security system management.
• Stock level oversight.
• Telephonic, audio and visual equipment support.

The ideal candidate-

• ICT Manager with broad experience and expertise.
• Educational experience desirable not essential.
• Knowledge of various ICT Technologies.
• Software, networking and infrastructure management experience.
• Hands on approach, willing to work as part of a team.
• Technology management and register experience.
