Platform Architect - OpenShift

Title: OpenShift Architect 

Location: Fully Remote (Must be willing to work US East Coast working hours) 

Salary: Up to £120k + Package

This role will involve.   

Forsyth Barnes have partnered with an established Data Consultancy with clients across Europe and North America. The organisation work with their clients and their data to leverage its power and make decisions are crucial to adding transformational value to businesses. The company are now seeking a permanent OpenShift Architect to join their team on a permanent basis.  

Key elements  

• Lead the design and implementation of OpenShift-based container orchestration solutions that align with business objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable and secure OpenShift architectures.
• Automate deployment processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform or Ansible, to ensure consistency and repeatability across environments.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for OpenShift architectures, Applications configurations, and procedures.
• Participate in knowledge sharing activities, such as brown bag sessions, workshops, and community forums, to share insights, lessons learned, and emerging trends in containerization and big data analytics.
• Excellent communication skills + stakeholder management
