Owing to their success and growth, as well as significant investment, they are currently seeking a Lead Engine Developer to join their innovation department.

This role presents a unique blend of being part of a dynamic and talented team working on a successful product and also contributing to Research and Development activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading the development of a new geospatial data platform using Unreal Engine.
• Guiding and mentoring a team of developers, establishing departmental processes, and promoting best practices.
• Addressing issues affecting team performance and facilitating resolutions.
• Implementing tactics and tools to achieve business objectives.
• Managing team delivery and supporting product/ project management cycles.

Requirements

• Extensive experience using Unreal Engine, with proficiency in Blueprints and C++.
• Knowledge of version control solutions and software architecture principles.
• Understanding of integrations with external systems and automated data import pipelines.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Agility in prioritising requirements and problem-solving.
