IT Service Desk Team Lead - £35,000 - £40,000

This is a great opportunity for an ambitious IT Service Desk Team Leader looking to join a company that take career development seriously, who have recently been certified as a Great Place to Work.

You will spearhead the IT delivery function of a well-established company in Bournemouth, leading the service desk who provide the first point of contact for all IT related issues from users across the UK.

It will require someone technically strong (ideally you will have an MCP certification / ITIL qualification, or similar) who can lead a team of 4/5 service desk analysts, manage IT development install requests, co-ordinate with 3rd party supplies, and ensure all requests for service are fulfilled.

Some of the general responsibilities will include:

  • Incident management
  • Request management
  • Asset management
  • Knowledge management
  • Daily system checks

The role will require the following:

A technical background, including:

  • Active Directory administatration
  • MS Exchange 2013 administration
  • Office 365 administration
  • Hardware troubleshooting
  • Windows
  • Network connectivity issues

Previous Team lead responsibilities, including:

  • Being the escalation point for service desk analysts
  • Providing 2nd line support when required
  • Adopting best working practices 
  • Ensuring KPIs are attained 
  • 12 months + experience in a Team Lead / Manager position
