IT Solutions Technician apprentice - £18k - company car or car allowance included

A UK Driving Licence is required to apply for this apprenticeship due to the mobile element of the role. You will be handling a large variety of service requests, from routine repair and maintenance of hardware/peripherals, to configuring components and supporting technical issues for large, complex multi-platform systems.

Role

  • Building and enhancing your knowledge of multiple technologies within several business areas
  • Visiting diverse Mobile Customers to large Data Centre environments
  • Building and maintaining ongoing relationships with our customers, while being aware of and adhering to customer contractual obligations and service level agreements
  • Dealing with customer escalations and working with the management team to resolve them
  • Maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction by clarifying customer needs and ensuring they are met
  • Commissioning high-end IT solutions
  • Contributing to team knowledge sharing

You will also be working with the management team and gain experience in several HPE Business Units. A personal mentor will be assigned to you to assist with all aspects of the support operation, including customer call handling and technical skills.

This is a fast-paced, interesting, and challenging role where you will gain exposure and growth expertise on a wide palette of cutting-edge technologies while being involved in delivering business-critical projects.

Training

During this apprenticeship, you will follow a fully supported training programme with LearnTech, delivered through combined weekly remote classroom-based training, workplace assessment/training and online learning working towards completing the Level 3 IT Solutions Technician standard.

Functional skills in maths and English (if required).

You will also receive HPE CDS internal training and have a dedicated mentor from the support team to shadow and learn from.
