Technical Team Leader Location: Gloucestershire

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £50,000-£60,000 (dependent upon experience)

About Us:My client is a forward-thinking company that thrives on innovation and excellence. We are seeking an experienced Technical Team Leader to lead our dynamic team of software and 3rd line engineers and technical experts.

Responsibilities:

• Scrum Master: Facilitate agile ceremonies, guide the team in using scrum practices, and ensure efficient collaboration.
• 3rd Line Support: Oversee escalated technical issues, troubleshoot complex problems, and provide expert-level support.
• Software Development Leadership: Lead and mentor software engineers, ensuring high-quality code, adherence to best practices, and timely project delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and optimise workflows.
• Monitor team performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in technical leadership roles, particularly in software development.
• Strong technical background in software engineering, including 3rd line support.
• Scrum Master Certification (CSM or PSM) preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire team members.
• Problem-solving mindset and a results-oriented approach.
