Business Analyst

Business Analyst – London (hybrid) – Perm – Salary £27K - £35K

We are currently seeking an entry-level Business Analyst to support a growing Broadcast media business. This cross-functional role will involve working across all departments and supporting digital transformation projects, system improvements, and monitoring core functionality.

Reporting to the Product Manager, you'll have the opportunity to learn about all areas of the media television distribution business and get involved in a variety of exciting transformation projects while working with market-leading systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

- Triage requests from different business stakeholders for new feature requirements

 manage all system requirements in the product backlog

- Support the implementation of new system and integration projects

- Produce reports using state-of-the-art data analysis and modelling tools

- Manage a variety of key business datasets, undertake data gap analysis, troubleshoot, and merge data across multiple systems

- Run training and user engagement sessions

- Create and maintain documents that outline new processes/technologies

- Support the Product Manager with the general administration of core systems

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

- A 2:1 degree or relevant professional qualification.

- Experience with data analysis.

Excellent Excel skills; comfortable managing large datasets using lookup functions.

Power BI experience preferred

- Experience of system data management.

- Experience in providing business reports.

- Highly organized with an exceptional eye for detail.

- Good written communication skills; especially for writing specifications, guides, technical documentation.

- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with all stakeholders.

- Ability to work independently; strong problem-solving and resourcefulness.

- Desire to learn more about the media industry and digital transformation.
