Data Foundations Apprentice (Irwin Mitchell)

We are looking to recruit an apprentice to join our friendly team, who play a crucial role in ensuring that IT services align with business objectives, are delivered smoothly and meet the needs of our stakeholders.

Role

We’re legal experts with a difference. As well as offering a full range of legal services to individuals and businesses, we also support people with their finances, wealth and asset management. We focus on what really matters, our clients, colleagues, and communities. We work with our clients and take the time to understand what matters most to them. We call it ‘expert hand, human touch’.

We’re more than just a law firm – we’re a group of like-minded, friendly people working together to help individuals and businesses navigate life’s ups and downs.

Whichever team you join, working here, you’ll feel a part of our friendly and inclusive environment. We’ll value you for who you are and what you bring. We support each other and push boundaries to achieve incredible things and make a real difference to our clients and communities. The work we do has been recognised in the awards we’ve won. We’re committed to being even better, and our awards help to show we’re on the right track.

We recognise that the office 9-5 isn’t for everyone. That’s why we’ve introduced ‘Flexible by Choice’. Whether it’s working from home, in our offices, or a combination of them both, we trust each other to support our clients, colleagues and communities at the right time, in the right way.

Your Role

Are you ready to embark on an exciting journey into the world of data? We are currently seeking a passionate and ambitious individual to join our IT Service Delivery Management team as a Data Foundations Apprentice at our Sheffield office. We are looking to recruit an apprentice to join our friendly team, who play a crucial role in ensuring that IT services align with business objectives, are delivered smoothly and meet the needs of our stakeholders. The team provides invaluable support including communication with third parties and stakeholders, reporting, and service improvement. Effective communication, clear reporting, and proactive service enhancement are crucial in maintaining strong relationships, identifying areas for improvement, minimising disruptions to service and delivering high-quality IT services.

  • As a data foundation apprentice, you will gain invaluable exposure in various areas, including system, network, and application issues. You will also undertake reporting and data analysis activities, collaborating with different teams across Irwin Mitchell.
  • In addition to maintaining strong relationships, you will use data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for changes. This will involve designing and creating reports that provide valuable insights into service levels, customer insights and system availability. By analysing this data, you will contribute to the enhancement of IT delivery processes, seeking opportunities to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.
  • To achieve these goals, you may implement industry best practices, adopt new technologies, or streamline workflows. Through your contributions, you will play a key role in ensuring that service levels are maintained, concerns and issues are addressed promptly, and IT operations are continuously improved.
