Lead DevOps Engineer

Skills and Experience:

• Experience of AWS technologies and infrastructure, best practices, implementation and support (including involvement in Well Architected Reviews) ideally for large, public-sector organisations
• Experience in delivering high quality, practical design documentation for AWS-based services
• Practical hands-on experience in the establishment, configuration, development, automation, monitoring, and support of enterprise Cloud services including working with in-house teams and external 3rd parties to provide coaching and skills transfer, supporting transition to DevOps ways of working
• Experience in the practical application of AWS Native Platform as a Service capabilities to reduce the need for bespoke code, and ensure applications are scalable, reliable and secure
• Play a leading role in our Engineering Community of Practice, driving innovation and best practice adoption as part of an energised community of engineers
• Help upskill and coach other team members, providing ongoing mentoring and on-the-job training as and when appropriate
