Supervisor - Operations

You will……

As an Operations Supervisor you will be joining a mature Operational Management team with an established Lean / Operational Excellence culture, working with the Operations Mangers you will be responsible for day to day management of team of 15-20 associates:

  • To ensure that all local and global KPI’s are met in full – both service and productivity.
  • To ensure strong operational planning, control and monitoring of all team member performances leading to an improvement in accuracy and productivity
  • To ensure a continuous improvement LEAN / Operational Excellence culture throughout the distribution centre maximising efficiency
  • To ensure a safe and secure environment across all areas of the distribution centre in line with current Health and Safety guidelines and 5S Culture
  • Own individual projects with defined timelines
  • Work with and train others as appropriate to create, capture, organise and store process knowledge, in a manner that supports effective and efficient retrieval and re-use
  • To support the operational management team as needed in all areas of the business.
     

The ideal candidate for this opportunity will have…

  • Experience managing a team in FMCG environment
  • Proven track record of successful management and accomplishments implementing productivity improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Visio, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Strong bias for action, can communicate vision clearly and be a driver of change. 
  • Basic understanding of ERP / WMS / MHS systems
