Role - Software Engineer - Java

Rate - £475-£500 (Outside IR35)

Location - Remote

Contract Length - 6 months.

Start Date - Mid May

Interview Stages - 1 or 2

The client is looking to grow the Global Engineering team by bringing on board creative and proactive individuals to support the global growth and expanding clients in 2024 and beyond. It's a truly exciting time for them right now, with plenty of opportunities to make a real impact within the business and future Digital Banks across the World.

The client specializes in helping clients build, launch, and run successful digital banks. At the core, they are passionate about solving the challenge of creating innovative and reliable financial services that benefit both clients and consumers. Their expertise is built on delivery, and we work side by side with their clients throughout, to help build them that awesome digital bank.

What you will need

• Must have strong Java experience - 8, 11, & 17 are a MUST.
• Back-end tools are a priority - Java, Python, Node.js are a MUST.
• Recent Banking / Financial experience.
• Strong Communicator - Someone with a strong personality. The client and consultancy are like an outgoing individual, enjoy taking on tasks and are independent.
• You must have built cloud applications.
• AWS Experience.
• Good focus on quality unit test, component and e2e (JUnit, cucumber).
• You have a good understanding of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines.
