SHE Technician Apprentice
Kerry are currently looking for an apprentice to specialise and learn the fundamental requirements to work as a Safety, Health and Environment Technician.
The applicant upon completion of the Apprenticeship will have the qualification title of Safety, Health and Environmental Technician Level 3, which is equivalent to an A-Level.
Role
What the apprentice will be doing -
- Raising, tracking and assisting in observations, and take part in “go look and see” where relevant.
- Communicate and engage with staff raising awareness of the SHE sites goals and reporting back to HSE Lead.
- Taking part in progressing HSE Champions knowledge and engaging with them.
- Assist in conducting investigations of accidents, incidents, near misses to find the root cause and create action plans to address actions needed.
- Research SHE issues and best practices, review updates of SHE regulations making sure that information is accurate and up to date.
- Assisting and conducting audits for SHE areas across site.
Training
- Upon completion of the apprenticeship, the candidate will receive the qualification and title of Safety, Health and Environment Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship standard
- The apprentice will receive their training at Gainsborough, Lincolnshire.
- Training to be discussed in depth with the candidate at a later stage.
Upon completion the candidate may possibly be offered a full-time role with the company. To be discussed in more depth with the candidate.
