QOF and Nursing Administrator
Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Leeds City Medical Practice to join our dynamic and friendly team within a busy GP practice providing a quality administrative service to the Nursing Team and Practice.
The QOF/Nurse Administrator is a vital role within the practice and will be part of the Nursing Team supporting and contributing to the smooth running of the practice and providing a quality service to our patients.
We require an enthusiastic, self-motivated, dedicated organised individual to join our practice.
Main duties of the job
Day to day running of the practice recall system to ensure all patients on the QOF register have attended all necessary elements to achieve maximum QOF points following the practice processes
Inputting Child Immunisations on to SystmOne requested by the nursing team
Manage Child immunisation recall and DNA appointments
Help maintain Cytology Recall and Cease & Defer process
Read code Information onto the Practice Clinical system
Follow up on Missing QOF Data and action appropriately
Monthly updates on QOF /IIF for all clinical staff
Work directly with the Patient Care QOF team alongside the practice recall system
Keep up to date with annual QOF changes
Attend relevant practice meetings
Complete audits as directed by Nurse Manager
Monthly Stock Control and Tiny Tag Download
Vaccine/cold chain storage, monitoring and recording
Monthly Ordering of Stock/Vaccines as directed by the Nursing Team
Minute Taker for Nurse Meetings
Recall for Amber Drug Monitoring adding blood requests as directed by the Nurse Manager
Monitor and invite 24hr BP patients as directed by the Nursing Team
Add Nurse Rotas on the Clinical system directed by the Nurse Lead
To assist with any administrative duties or other reasonable requests from the Nursing team

Leeds City Medical Practice is a large busy Training Practice with ten GP Partners across two sites in Beeston delivering care and services to a population of over 19,000 patients.

JOB DETAILS
Post Title: Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF) / Nurse Administrator
Location: Leeds City Medical Practice (Beeston Hill & Parkside branches)
Reports to: Nurse Manager
JOB PURPOSE
The QOF/Nurse administrator works under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager and will link with the Practice Management Team. All work is in accordance with specific Practice guidelines and protocols and will assist the Management and Practice Nurse Team with administrative duties to maximise QOF and IIF outcomes and patient satisfaction.

- Process data using accurate read codes to ensure easy and accurate information retrieval and monitoring and audit process.
- Ensure clinical information is documented using practice templates.
- Awareness of data entry a checking of appropriate codes to achieve targets

MENTAL EFFORT
Requirement to concentrate checking patient detailed, clinical records.
Requirement to record information in the patients records. These records must be a 100% accurate to avoid errors that may delay patient diagnosis or management.

Qualifications
- GCSE grade A to C in English and Maths
Experience
- Primary Care experience
- Experience using Office 365 and Microsoft Packages.
- Experience using SystmOne.
