About the role 

As the successful Data Analyst your role revolves around crafting tailored data visualisation solutions for clinical clients. This entails conducting workshops to understand client requirements, designing and testing intuitive dashboards using tools like Tableau or Power BI, and engaging with clients through platforms like Microsoft Teams to gather feedback and ensure alignment with their needs. Your expertise in dashboard design and development, coupled with your ability to communicate effectively with clients, enables you to deliver actionable insights that empower healthcare professionals to make informed decisions and improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Design, develop, and maintain embedded analytics, visualisations, and dashboards to support various business requirements and objectives.
  • Utilise SQL to manipulate and analyse large datasets, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document business requirements for data analysis projects.
  • Assist in data modelling and architecture design to optimise Qlik / Yellowfin performance and maintainability.
  • Conduct data quality assessments and implement data cleansing and enrichment techniques as necessary.
  • Provide end-user training and support and best practices.
  • Continuously research emerging trends in data analytics and new technologies.
  • Resolve issues on production environments. 
  • Perform statistical analysis on data to assist in the building of AI models.
  • Participate in training and other activities to enhance and share the knowledge and skills of colleagues 

Skills & Experience 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with a business intelligence tool - such as Qlik or Yellowfin
  • Strong proficiency in SQL with at least 2 years of experience using SQL for data manipulation and analysis
  • Solid understanding of data modelling
  • Data warehousing and ETL concepts
