Quality & Test Specialist

Role: Quality & Test Specialist

Location: Attica, Athens, Greece

Length of Contract: Initial 6 Months with a view to extend thereafter

Our client is a leading Software, Information and Communication Technologies company, they currently have an opening for a Quality & test Specialist. The successful candidate will be fluent in English and will be located in Athens, Greece as you will be working on-site in Attica.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse the system under testing and design the test strategy
• Create, design and maintain test plans and develop test acceptance criteria
• Create, design and maintain test scripts and test data
• Prepare and plan the test environments as well as log any defects and potential improvements
• Select and develop integration testing techniques to ensure the system meets requirements
• Design and customize integration tests, identify issues that may jeopardize the correct functioning of the application
• Organise test plans and procedures for white and black box testing at unit, module, system, and integration levels
• Contribute to defect tracking and correction procedures
• Use, select and design testing tools to assess software quality

Requirements:

• University degree in IT, combined with professional experience of more than 6 years
• Knowledge of web technologies and Microsoft applications
• Knowledge of testing procedures and platforms and integration testing
• Knowledge of automation testing frameworks and quality and risk management procedures
• Knowledge of common software failures and faults
• Excellent command of the English language
