IT Technician Apprentice
Magnetar IT are offering the chance for a candidate to take part in an IT Technician Apprenticeship. We are looking to have a passionate individual to join the IT department. You will be carrying out IT solutions and networking issues, you will be working towards and IT level apprenticeship at Wise Origin College.
Role
- Ensure all faults are progressed and resolved or escalated within the company's SLA, internally or externally
- Maintain a knowledge base of any software or hardware problems detected
- Support users in the use of hardware equipment by giving necessary advice
- To allocate more complex service issues to the relevant IT Support member (escalate)
- To arrange for external 3rd party technical support where problems cannot be resolved
- Create and update documents according to companies' policies
- Report to a support team leader
- Dedicated account management
Training
- Level 3 Information Communications Technician Qualification
- Apprenticeship training will be delivered online
- Full support from Digital Skills Trainer for the duration of the Apprenticeship
- Full-time role after completing the Apprenticeship
