Network Engineer - Azure

Our client is seeking an experienced Azure Network Engineer to join their team. This is a permanent, full-time position based from offices near Birmingham on Hybrid basis.

As an Azure Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing Azure virtual networks, subnets, and security groups. You will also be involved in implementing and maintaining VPN connections, ExpressRoute, and other network connectivity solutions on the Azure platform.

Additionally, you will optimise network performance, address performance bottlenecks, and integrate network components with applications and services.

Our client is a technology company at the forefront of innovation in the telecommunications sector. With a focus on cyber security and networking technologies, they work on national and international scale projects to ensure the safety and integrity of telecommunications networks.

• Experience in IT Network and Network infrastructure
• Significant experience in Azure networking
• Ability to design, deploy, and manage Azure virtual networks, subnets, and security groups
• Knowledge of implementing and maintaining VPN connections, ExpressRoute, and other network connectivity solutions on the Azure platform
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and integrate network components with applications and services
• Experience in monitoring network traffic and responding to network-related incidents and outages
• Strong documentation and reporting skills for network configurations and procedures
