Senior Theatre Practitioner with Surgical First Assistant
Job summary
Be responsible for providing skilled clinical and technical assistance as a member of the operating theatre team. Provide continuous competent and dedicated assistance under the direct supervision of the operating surgeon throughout the procedure.
Main duties of the job
Promoting best practice and contributing towards quality improvements. Acting as an SFA within scope of practice, across a caseload of orthopaedic, general, gynaecology and urology surgery. Working as a Theatre Practitioner across various specialities when not acting as SFA.

- Surgical first assistant qualification.
- Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration.
- Mentorship qualification.
Experience
- Excellent communication skills.
- Immediate Life Support provider.
