Apprentice DevOps Engineer
We are seeking a DevOps Apprentice to join our team, providing support in cloud infrastructure management, system monitoring, and security implementation. This role involves automating tasks, collaborating with team members, & documenting processes. This is an opportunity to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.
Role
Your duties will include:
- Assist in provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure.
- Support the setup and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor the performance and health of various systems.
- Collaborate with other team members to refine software delivery processes and improve efficiency.
- Document processes, and procedures maintaining an accessible and well-organised knowledge repository.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices in the DevOps field, actively seeking opportunities for learning and development.
- Provide support to development teams in deployment and troubleshooting activities.
- Assist in identifying areas for process improvement in Agile deliveries.
Training
- DevOps Engineer Level 4 Apprenticeship Standard qualification
- Training will be delivered both in college and in the workplace
- Apprentices without level 2 English and maths will need to achieve this level prior to taking the End-Point Assessment
