Specialist Administrator Apprentice
An exciting opportunity for a Specialist Administrator Apprentice to join the Outpatient Booking Centre based at Cosham. You'll learn to process referrals both electronically and received via post, how to book new & follow up outpatient appointments whilst dealing with telephone enquiries from patients, departments and other organisations.
Role
- To work within a team to support the smooth running of the Outpatient Booking Centre for patients referred to Portsmouth Hospitals University Trust
- To ensure all new referrals are processed in accordance with Trust and National Policy
- Input data using Trust systems to ensure patients pathways are accurately started and maintained
- To ensure appropriate booking of clinic lists
- To provide a high standard of service for patients
Training
- The successful candidate will be undertaking the Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship
- Candidates who don't have maths and English at Level 2 will undertake Functional Skills in these subjects as part of the apprenticeship
- You will be fully supported by our Apprenticeship Training Provider, HTP Apprenticeship College
- Delivery method TBC
- Upon successful completion of the Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship, the successful candidate will move to a Band 3 salary
- Further progression may well be available in other areas within our sector, upon successful completion of the apprenticeship
