We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Analyst & Vetting Co-ordinator to join our team at HMP Full Sutton, a category A Prison located in the village of Full Sutton, near York.

Hours

The site currently offers a day time only service, Monday to Friday.

Salary

This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary up to 30,660 per annum - depending on experience.

Main duties of the job

As a Data Analyst & Vetting Co-ordinator, your responsibilities will vary. You will

  • Support the Business & Performance Manager in ensuring that all statutory activity data is collected, collated, validated, quality assured and submitted within agreed timetables
  • Assist in improving data quality
  • Support the Business & Performance Manager in providing business and operational information, analysis and performance monitoring reports.
  • Ensure all healthcare staff are CTC and enhanced prison cleared at all times
  • Act as a single point of contact for newly recruited healthcare staff at HMP Full Sutton Nominated Vetting Contact Point for all CTC applications. This includes oversite through to completion. This may extend, with agreement, to other PPG healthcare staff to support the wider business and mobilisation of new contracts.
  • Be the single point of contact between the recruitment team and HMP Full Sutton healthcare department ensuring newly recruited members of staff are on board in a timely manner.

Qualifications & Experience required

  • Maths and English at GCSE or equivalent grade C or above
  • NVQ 2 Business Administration or equivalent
  • Experience interpreting and analysing complex data sets
  • Experience of data quality and experience developing data quality
  • A working knowledge of SystmOne or a similar patient based IT system
  • Ability to prioritise workload and delegate effectively
  • Advanced IT working technical knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word
