Role:

This well-established and reputable organisation is a leading provider of software and services into the public sector. They now have the need to bring on board an account manager on the ascendancy to focus on selling its digital social care software solutions into several existing accounts across the UK within the local authority/social care sector. You will be tasked with building relationships with the customer base and targeted on generating further revenue as well as retention. The ideal candidate will be articulate and consultative with account management experience working for another software provider within the public sector. It would be a huge advantage if you have sold into local authorities or social care. To be successful in securing this role, you will need to demonstrate your account development and relationship building skills along with your experience in the public sector.

Candidate Skills Required:

- Proven track record of account management/development

- Software solution sales experience

- Sold into the public sector

- A minimum of 4-5 years IT sales experience

Candidate Skills Beneficial:

- Degree educated

- Experience selling into local authorities or social care  

- A stable career record
