Project Engineer Apprentice
As a Project Engineer Apprentice, you’ll be based in the Power Systems Hub Execution Centre working within the Project Management Team. You’ll be responsible for the delivery and project management of key customer projects, acting as the main contact for customers on all aspects of project delivery.
Role
Day-to-day tasks include (not limited to) the following:
- Engineering of electrical switchgear, components, transformers, busbar and other electrical equipment under scope of supply
- Communication with project stakeholders at all levels within both the customer and Schneider Electric organisations
- Identify project issues and put proactive plans in place to resolve effectively and in a timely manner
- Financial control of the project including procurement, invoice approval, variation handling, final account agreement, monthly cost to complete reviews
Training
- Applicants will have an opportunity to gain a Level 6 Electro-Mechanical Engineer qualification
- The training will involve block release to the University of Warwick
