Job Brief: Inside IR35 Contract Business Analyst with ServiceNow Experience

Position: Inside IR35 Contract Business Analyst

Location: Leeds twice a month

Duration: 6 month initial - scope to go on through next year

Introduction: Our client, a leading Professional Services firm, is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with expertise in ServiceNow to join their team on an inside IR35 contract basis. The successful candidate will play a vital role in analysing business processes, gathering requirements, and facilitating the implementation and enhancement of ServiceNow solutions to meet the client's needs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and document business requirements related to ServiceNow implementations and enhancements.
2. Business Process Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of existing business processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization through the implementation of ServiceNow solutions.
3. Solution Design: Work closely with technical teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and design solutions within the ServiceNow platform.
4. Configuration and Customization: Utilise expertise in ServiceNow to configure and customize the platform to meet business requirements, including workflows, forms, reports, and integrations.
5. Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality and functionality of ServiceNow solutions, and facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) with stakeholders.
6. Training and Documentation: Provide training to end-users on new ServiceNow functionalities and processes, and develop comprehensive documentation to support training and ongoing operations.
7. Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, and effectively communicate project status, risks, and issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a Business Analyst in a Professional Services environment.
2. Extensive hands-on experience with ServiceNow, including configuration, customization, and administration.
3. Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and best practices.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
5. Experience with Agile methodologies and tools for project management.
6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
7. Relevant certifications in ServiceNow (e.g., Certified Implementation Specialist) are highly desirable.
