C# Automation Test Analyst

Position:  C# Automation Tester (2 positions)
Suitable for:  Automation Tester or SDET with C# and system integration experience
Location:  Hybrid / Milton Keynes approx. once a month
Salary:  to £55k + bens

Our client is looking for a talented Automation Tester with strong recent C# and integration testing experience to join their QA cross dimensional scaled Agile team.

Essential Skills/ Attributes:
•    A minimum of 4 years’ experience as an Automation Tester, SDET or similar with C# experience
•    Experience of automating system integration testing – Approx 4 years required
•    Experience of automating front-end and back end (microservices) using Selenium Webdriver and RestSharp - Approx 4 years required
•    Solid understanding of .Net Core, NUnit and Visual Studio - Approx 4 years required
•    An understanding of SQL and relational databases
•    Understanding of XML, JSON and structured data
•    Experience of creating/modifying test data
•    Performing occasional manual testing (functional/non-functional) to support other teams
•    Must have good root cause analysis and collaboration for finding and resolving defects with Developers

Desirable: 
•    Hands on testing experience using MS Azure technologies
•    Experience of using Continuous Integration tools such as Azure DevOps
•    Experience in design, implementation and execution of non-functional testing (load, performance, volume, stress and scalability tests)

The Role:

The ideal Automation Tester will be able to demonstrate 4+ years of practical experience working within automation-oriented roles with C#, with a particular focus on system integration level testing.  Key responsibilities include co-ordinating, planning and executing automation testing activities for Azure based projects.
