ADHD Prescriber Team Lead-REMOTE Business
Job summary
We are looking for an ADHD Prescribing Team Lead to join the team to support the development of our prescribing pathway for Adults and Children who have been referred by their University, Health Insurer, or the NHS for ADHD.
Main duties of the job
Main Responsibilities
- Reporting to, and close liaison with, the ADHD Prescribing Clinical Lead.
- Work alongside the Prescribing Team Leads on service development.
- Supervision and Line management of up to 8 prescribers.
- Providing prescribing advice and support to colleagues.
- Involvement in training programme for prescribers new to prescribing for ADHD.
- Small prescribing caseload/prescribing cover.
- Clinical inductions of new starters (fortnightly).
- Interviewing new candidates.
- Personal Development/ training.
- Coordinating team meetings and agendas.
- Providing safeguarding and risk advice and support to colleagues.
- Responsible for ensuring clinical values / consistency across ADHD service.
- Ad Hoc queries and support.
- Must hold Enhanced DBS.
- A Right to Work in the UK.

You will be inspiring and organised, and will view the role not as a job, but rather as a vocation. You must hold an Independent Prescribing Qualification (V300).
