Cabling Technician

• Rate: Competitive hourly rate
• Duration: 10 - 12 weeks
• National based role - travel required - should have own car
• Rate: €250 - €300 per shift 

Schedule: Night shifts, 4-day weeks Monday - Thursday. Hotel allowance provided. 

Responsibilities:

1. Installation, termination, and testing of cabling infrastructure, with a focus on Cat6 or Cat7 cables.
2. Work closely with project managers and other team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve cabling issues as they arise, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
4. Maintain accurate documentation of all cabling installations and modifications.
5. Provide support for any point-of-sale (POS) equipment installations or configurations as needed - desirable but not essential 

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Cabling Technician, with expertise in installing and maintaining Cat6 or Cat7 cables.
2. Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for cabling infrastructure.
3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment.
4. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
5. Availability for night shifts and flexible scheduling, working 4-day weeks across Ireland
6. Bonus points for any experience with point-of-sale (POS) equipment installations or troubleshooting.

Full Irish working rights, along with valid drivers licence and vehicle is important.
