Trainee Software Developer

I am looking for a Trainee Software Developer based in Milton Keynes.

The main purpose of the role is to maintain company systems and software's according to standards set within department.

Salary: £27,000-£30,000

Working pattern: Monday to Friday (08:30-17:00 - Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing coding, maintenance and correction to technical and functional specification as well as correction where required
• Building long lasting relationships with colleagues and clients
• Following structured design and development procedures
• Support team and users in delivery of the product before it's release
• Supporting team with testing of the products
• Understand all internal systems and product development procedures

To be successful in this role:

• Experienced and comfortable with MS Office, especially Excel at an advanced level
• Must have and understanding of software's and programming principles
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Some experience of PHP, Javascript and docker
• Excellent communication skills
• Enthusiasm for working with large, complex data sets
• Previous experience in software testing or hobby in software solutions
• Github or Gitlab in the SDLC experience welcome
