We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Cloud Services Engineer to join our IT department in our Head Office in Spinningfields, Manchester city centre. The role As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and services on the Microsoft Azure platform. You will work closely with all areas of … IT to ensure performance, compliance, security, and cost-efficiency of our cloud resources. You will also provide technical support and troubleshooting for our cloud-based applications and systems, and where appropriate, administration of other SaaS based systems such as our Ring Central telephone platform. Key role responsibilities Monitor and optimise the performance, availability, and scalability of our cloud infrastructure and services. Manage and automate cloud operations using tools such as PowerShell, Azure CLI, Azure DevOps, and Azure Monitor. Operate, maintain, and enhance the Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environment. Stay updated with relevant technology areas. Skills, know-how, and experience: Relevant commercial experience in Software Engineering with recent .NET Core and C# development.
