This is a varied, multi-disciplinary role where you will … be involved in both electronic hardware design (60%) and embedded software development (40%), contributing to the creation of market-leading products from concept through to manufacture. Key Responsibilities for the Electronic Design Engineer job: Research, develop and design new electronic products and assemblies. Carry out analogue, digital, and power electronic circuit design and prototyping. Develop embedded software in C for 32-bit microcontrollers. Undertake schematic capture, PCB design, and test software development. Ensure designs meet specifications, industry standards (including EMC), and are optimised for manufacture.
