2 of 2 Infrastructure Engineering Jobs in Kings Langley

platform to replace a legacy system of ad-hoc scripts that coordinate long-running, resource-intensive compute jobs across on-premises HPC/HTC infrastructure and cloud environments. The platform must give engineers clear visibility into multi-day job pipelines, respond intelligently to failures, and scale compute capacity elastically … between on-prem hardware and the cloud during peak demand. This is a foundational, greenfield build. You will be the senior-most voice on infrastructure, security, and platform architecture, working closely with a software/application engineer who owns the orchestration logic and application-layer design. ...

roleWe are building a silicon engineering platform that turns a commit of GPU/AI hardware code into an orchestrated workflow automation that proves it is ready for customer release, including an ML/AI layer that learns to predict how to get there in the fewest workloads possible. … black boxes with defined inputs, outputs and exit codes, and we have engineers available to explain the domain. What we need is good software engineering, because underneath the domain is a big distributed-systems problem - with orchestration at scale, scheduling around scarce resources, content-addressed caching, data engineering ...
