based in Canary Wharf is looking for a Desktop Support Engineer on an initial 12m fixed term contract. Minimum 3 years' experience in desktop/end-user support within investment banking, hedge fund or similar high-pressure environments. The Desktop Support Engineer will provide 2nd/3rd line desktop and desk-side support, in a fast-paced finance … environment, supporting the trading floor, investment bankers/portfolio managers, quant teams etc. Ensuring that desktops, applications and peripherals are working optimally, with very high uptime, meeting security, compliance and performance expectations.
