UX Designer

Adele Carr Recruitment is representing an ambitious and growing digital services business based in Chester in the search for a UX Designer to join its digital team.

You'll work across customer-facing websites, mobile apps and bespoke digital journeys, creating user-friendly experiences that improve engagement, usability and conversion.

This is a great opportunity to take ownership of your work, test new ideas and collaborate with product, development and marketing teams in a relaxed, forward-thinking environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing user-friendly web and mobile experiences.
• Creating wireframes, prototypes and designs using Figma.
• Mapping customer journeys and improving usability.
• Collaborating with product and development teams.
• Analysing user behaviour, heatmaps and session recordings.
• Supporting A/B testing and conversion optimisation.
• Using analytics and feedback to guide design decisions.
• Promoting accessibility and UX best practices.
• Exploring front-end development and UI animations.

We're looking for a creative, analytical designer who enjoys solving problems and improving customer experiences.

You'll ideally have:

• At least two years' experience in UX/UI design.
• A strong portfolio of design projects.
• Experience with Figma, Adobe XD or Sketch.
• Knowledge of prototyping and customer journey mapping.
• Experience with A/B testing or conversion optimisation.
• Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, Hotjar or Microsoft Clarity.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Experience with Convert, front-end development or LottieFiles would be advantageous but isn't essential.
