Job Title: IT Site Operations Specialist

Duration: Initial contract ASAP – 31st March 2026

Workload: Full time hours

Setup: PAYE Contract, 38 days holiday (Inside IR35)

Location: On-site Aberdeen

We're seeking an experienced IT Site Operations Specialist to provide service assurance and operational support across a complex IT landscape for our Oil & Gas client.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor service availability across infrastructure and application landscapes, ensuring uptime and security KPIs are met.
• Escalate issues within IT Services and Operations when service levels deteriorate.
• Resolve complex technical problems independently, applying established frameworks and procedures.
• Collaborate across teams and engage with business leadership to ensure operational continuity.
• Operate with autonomy under broad managerial supervision.

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong understanding of IT service assurance and operational monitoring.
• Experience with infrastructure components and application landscapes.
• Proven ability to resolve complex technical issues independently.
• Familiarity with escalation protocols and service level management.

Nice-to-Have:

• Exposure to upstream asset environments or similar site-based operations.
• Experience working in freelance or contract-based IT roles.
• Ability to communicate effectively with business stakeholders.
